Sooo…. not our favorite place. I cannot speak for the entire state of New Hampshire, but the campground was meh. Beautiful and clean, but the campground culture here was not our jam. The location of our campground was not so great for things to do, other than hiking. We did partake in some of that… and mostly campground swimming and playing.
Our camp spot was directly across from the pool and playground, so that did give easy access to all things swimming and playing.
The campground did have a home-made ice cream shop at the entrance. The ice cream was amazing and they also had puppy ice cream!
And the campground did a campground ice cream truck on the weekends…. $1 ice creams! Yummy!
We met some new camper friends – and the kids had SO much fun with them! Girls that played dolls, a boy that played nerf guns…. the kids were in heaven. It was hard to say goodbye to fast friends like these.
Other than meeting a sweet family, we were happy to leave N.H. On to Maine!
