Although this is not as much a travel post, as more a real life post…. I could not pass by our stop in Phoenix without mentioning it.
One of our absolute favorite parts of this entire RV experience is that we get time with family! We can spend weeks in a city that we would otherwise not visit, and during a time of year that is unusual to break away from the normal life. So we thought – why not make the most of this and spend a good chunk in Phoenix?!
If you are looking for all the things to do in Phoenix – this is not your post. This is just about the fun things we were lucky enough to be a part of – maybe more for my memory than for your reading material. ☺️
We spent a weekend at my brother’s home – the kids got all the cousin time!
We then spent some time parked in my parent’s cul-de-sac.
We spent some time taking up my in-law’s entire front yard!
We had campfires.
David (and the boys) flew a TON.
We watched my nephew’s baseball games.
We had some epic desert bike rides.
We played with friends.
We decorated Easter eggs with grandma.
Conner and David learned some plumbing tricks after a plumbing fix went wrong. (Ha)
My uncle so kindly spent an entire day teaching Conner how to weld.
My parent’s awesome neighbor gave the kids a full blown fire-house tour.
Lastly, we celebrated Easter weekend!
What a great time it was – and it went so fast! On to Northern Arizona as our traveling begins once again….
Until next time,
